Samuel Parrela a.k.a. Menorah was introduced to the electronic music production process in 1996, seeking a specific kind of experimentalism and inspired by jazzy Detroit techno. In 2001, caught by the Brazilian veteran producer Dudu Marote a.k.a. Prztz/Jamanta Crew, he put out two tracks on a brilliant compilation of electronic and organic music called COMP_01|02 Orgânico|Sintético. Since then, he has been performing live acts at top clubs across the country. His presentations are always filled with a smashing approach but still deep and minimal. In the end of 2004, he released his first EP Mourisco on Conteúdo Records, a netlabel created by his fellows 3nity and Duduart. His international debut comes im 2006 with Suedat, out on Itzamna Recordings, followed by many others. In 2007 he founded his own label Clan:Destino Records, with an EP full of flow: Movimento. Menorah is building electronic dance music as it is meant to be: creative.
